We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual who interacts with our platform — whether as a customer booking salon services or as a salon business using our management tools.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and protected, and what rights you have over your data. It applies to the Glamee mobile application and web platform, and all associated services operated by India Tax Info Private Limited.

By using any of our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services.

Personal Information:

  • Full name, mobile number, and email address
  • Profile photo (uploaded voluntarily)
  • Gender and date of birth (optional)
  • Address details such as city, state, and pincode (optional)

Location Information:

  • City selected by you to discover nearby salons
  • Precise location accessed only when you choose to use the auto-fill feature for your address; this is not stored on our servers

Booking & Activity Data:

  • Salon appointments, selected services, and booking dates
  • Booking history and status
  • Favourite salons saved within the app
  • Reviews and ratings you submit

Technical Data:

  • Device information and usage patterns collected for security and platform improvement purposes

Vendor / Salon Business Data:

  • Business name, owner details, address, GST information, bank details, and service menus (for registered salon businesses only)

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We use the collected information for:

  • Facilitation: Enabling bookings and appointments between customers and registered salon vendors
  • Personalisation: Providing a tailored experience based on your preferences and location
  • Communication: Sending booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and service updates
  • SaaS Services: Providing management tools, billing software, and analytics to salon owners
  • Security: Preventing fraudulent activities and ensuring platform integrity

We do not use your personal data for advertising profiling or any purpose beyond what is described above.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data — ever.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted partners such as payment gateways, cloud hosting, and communication providers, only to the extent necessary to operate the platform
  • Salon Partners: Your booking details are shared with the salon you have appointed, solely to fulfil your appointment
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities such as a court or government agency
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred with advance notice to users

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary:

  • Active account data is retained while your account remains active
  • Booking records are retained for 24 months from the date of booking
  • Deleted account data is permanently removed within 30 days of the deletion request
  • Some records such as transaction data may be retained longer where required by law under the Income Tax Act or GST regulations

6. Account & Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by:

  • Using the Delete Account option within the app under Profile settings, OR
  • Sending an email to info@glameesalon.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" along with your registered mobile number

Upon verification, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Data Security (DPDPA 2023 Compliance)

As an entity under India Tax Info Private Limited, we implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure servers. In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, we ensure that data is processed only for specified purposes and protected against unauthorised access.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected users in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information via your profile settings or by contacting us
  • Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your account and data (see Section 6)
  • Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a readable format
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by contacting us or deleting your account

9. Children's Privacy

The Glamee platform is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has registered on our platform, please contact us at info@glameesalon.com and we will act promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this policy and notify you via the app or email where appropriate. Your continued use of Glamee after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
